“Nirvana” The Resort 2015 Collection by Awe Lagos

Nirvana the theme for Awe Lagos’ Resort 15 Collection is the ancient Sanskrit word which means “to blow out”, “liberation” or “freedom”. It tells of a state of profound peace of mind and release from suffering.

The collection is a dedication to the freedom fight of the legendary Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s first black president. The brand employs zig zag patterns, vertical lines and print as a medium to tell a story of freedom creating casual, chick, sporty, simple and minimal ready to wear fashion pieces. Notable pieces from the collection include the straw hats and white sandals.
The collection is a fashion ensemble that releases the user from the routine and trite fashion ensembles while still making a resounding fashion statement. Discover the collection below…
