Step 1 – As usual, apply the base coat to provide protection to your nails from nail polish. People don’t really give it that must importance, but applying the base coat to your nails keeps them healthy if you regularly apply different nail paints.
Step 2 – Paint your nails with any of your favorite shade. I like bright red, but you can choose any color you want, because it will be background for dots. Don’t move your hand; otherwise there will be smudges that we don’t want. Let them dry for about 8-10 minutes.
Step 3 – Take round tip brush and white nail color or any other shade you like and start painting dots, make sure there is even space between each dots so that they are not cluttered or overlapping each other. They all should be individually visible otherwise they will end up looking like thick lines. When you’re with these dots, let them dry for 5-8 minutes and then apply the top coat. Voila! Your polka dots nail art design is ready.
This is probably one of the easiest nail art tutorials you’ll find and they look gorgeous. You can add a bit of creativity, for instance you can use nail decals, stones, and glitter to make them look bright and vibrant.
