"Me as one of the future generation, keeping good health is one of
my number one priority , I honestly want to remain healthy, active and ever
young throughout my entire life
time . Witnessing many diseases and
health issues our current generation is facing, it really bothers me and makes me
wonder about the future we are heading to.
We all know that some diseases and health
issues cannot be prevented because they might be hereditary and runs through
the family blood but some diseases depend on our lifestyle and behavior and can
easily be prevented. One of the common health issues the current generation is
facing is diabetes, in very rare cases this disease has been proven to be
hereditary but this mostly is caused by our lifestyle and the way how we treat
our body. In most developed countries this disease hardly causes deaths but in
third world countries like ours living with diabetes is very risky and most of
the people lack the knowledge of understanding the problem itself.
In simple words diabetes is caused by on
how we treat our bodies and on our eating habits, in our human body there are
thousands of processes that are taking
place so as to keep the body running. All the processes take place under an
optimum condition/level so as to maintain a healthy working body. But we
sometime tend to change /interfere with the normal functioning of the body that
is we sometimes take something more / less of what is required. In case of
diabetes mellitus there is no control over the sugar levels of the body because
the body can no longer produce enzymes for controlling these levels, thus no
energy in simple words. Sugar is a carbohydrate which is used by the body to
produce energy. If there is no energy the system of the body slowly starts to
fail.
We sometimes eat more/less of what is
required thus causing a destruction in the system but in case of diabetes we eat more than what is required, we take in
many sugar molecules which overloads the system and slowly starting to damage
the system. Some of us do not even bother to know the diet required all we do
is we eat to satisfy our stomach not the nutritional requirement, in which the excess goes to
waste or stored for future use ass fats.
The stored fat is reservoir for energy
during hunger but I seriously think that for some people hunger is not going to
be a problem in their life so they not need to eat excess food. It seriously
hurts me to see that we live in a place where people who don’t need to eat more
food continues to eat more while in the other hand people who need food do not
get enough food and sometimes may not even eat at all. This solution could
easily be brought to an equilibrium where everybody eats what is required if we
only decide to change our habits.
My advice to people would to practice a
healthy lifestyle, take what the body requires and avoid taking of unnecessary
materials/drugs. We should also change our behavior towards the resources we have and use them effectively and we should
also practice sharing or giving away resources which we do not require and try
to save life. Prevention is better than cure
