Through the designs from this new Resort 2016 collection, Zuhair presented graphic, floral, vibrant pink, and femme fatale groupings all without forcing a link. And of course, flagrantly feminine glamour – something that has always defined Murad as a designer. The collection consists of versatile designs, including jumpsuits, siren gowns, body-con dresses, flounced frocks, evening suiting, plunging V-necklines and full skirts. There are a few trends I simply must make mention of.
The black and white the collection opens with is an ode to the FW 2015 season, along with the pink. The slits up the thighs are most certainly a 2015 thing, while the crop tops have begun to span two years now. Flared ends to the pants are so 1970s, and the fashion trend from this year that has been rocking the runways, a look that we are more than happy to see extending into 2016. Floral designs and prints have taken over the garments as well, particularly used to decorate the white ensembles. We can certainly see some of the body-cons make it into the 2016 fashion trends as well.
