Jamilla's love for fashion started at a tender age of 14, and she later moved on to modeling which eventually triggered her desire to start her own fashion label. In 2002 Jamilla returned to Dar-es-salaam to open up JamillaVeraSwai Studio.

The Jamilla Vera Swai collection is full of extra ordinary cutting edge pieces designed for all ages and all genres.
