This is probably the most popular way to style your box braids into a
chic up-do. Bring the braids to the top of your head, above your
forehead. With one hand keeping the braids in place, gather the rest of
your hair and merge with the twist. Tie your braids into a high ponytail
with a band. Now twist your ponytails and roll it around to form a bun
like you normally would. Secure the bun with another band. Voilà
#2 Ponytails
As simple as it sounds… Start with gathering the braids to the top of
your head. With one hand keeping the braids in place, gather the rest
of your hair and tie your braids into a high/low ponytail with a band.
#3 French Braid Tuck
The French braid is a beautiful and classic hairstyle. Grab a section
of hair from the same height on your head, either back to front or
front to back. Separate the section into three equal strands. Cross the
right strand over and center strand over each other a few times, in a
normal braid. Bring the left strand over the center strand. Alternate
crossing the left and right strands over the center. Incorporate a
little more hair from the sides each time you cross. Tuck the edges in
and secure with a bobbin pin. This look can be taken to work.
#4 Side Fishtail-
This styling is beautiful and great for an average day.Divide your
hair into two sections, parting straight horizontally from the middle .
Take a strand from the right side and pull it over to the left and same
for the right side.keep alternating sides until you reach the bottom of
the braids. Tie off the end with an elastic. If you feel that the
fishtail is too tight, use your fingers to gently massage into the
strands a little to loosen it slightly.
