To start with making the cupcakes, you have to follow the package
instructions and prepare 24 cupcakes. Cool them for 30 minutes followed
by freezing them for an hour and then remove them from the papers to cut
the domed top off of the half of the cupcakes. Stack another cupcake on
top of each and use a knife to carve the sides of each cupcake which
should make the shape of a plastic cup.You have to make the cupcake wrappers by creating a template for the cupcake wrappers out of a paper cup. Use a paper cup which would be enough for the size of two stacked cupcakes and then cut the paper along the seam to remove the round button and trim if necessary. Next, roll the red modeling chocolate out to about 1/8- thickness and then set the template on the modeling chocolate to cup out around it. Do the same for 11 other cupcakes and then roll out the white modeling chocolate into long thin logs to attach the top edge of the cupcake wrappers using water or glue. Now make the chocolate stout ganache by putting the chopped chocolate in a food processor bowl and heating the whipping cream in a saucepan. Let it boil and then pour the hot cream over chocolate. Let the cream sit for 2 minutes and then pulse the mixture for a few times followed by adding the stout. Make everything combined properly by pulsing a few more times and then pour the mixture into a bowl to let it thicken. At this stage, you have to assemble the cupcake by spreading a thin layer of chocolate stout ganache in-between the two-stacked cupcakes. A thin layer of ganache should be applied over each of the red cup cake wrappers and then wrap one around each cup cake stake. Make sure that the seams are well sealed by brushing some water along the seams and then press together. Pour some ganache over the cup cakes and then you have to give the beer effect by coloring the whipped topping by using yellow, orange and brown food coloring. Heat the whipped topping in the microwave for 15 seconds followed by pouring them into each cup to make it look like the red cups are filled with beer. Place the cups at your party and enjoy the compliments from your guests!
